4XE Hybrid Advantages
Hybrids combine the range and easy fill-up of conventional cars with the emission and handling advantages of an EV
- At low speeds, they use a battery pack and electric motor. Your emissions can go down by up to a third, according to Consumer Reports.
- At higher speeds and longer distances, they give you the performance and range of a gas engine.
- Your fuel efficiency increases. Most hybrid SUVs achieve over 35 MPG, and hybrid sedans get over 45 MPG.
- You don’t have to plug in a hybrid like you do an EV because gas-station fill-ups provide the power. Regenerative braking converts the energy usually lost when you slow down into electricity for the battery, which boosts your range.
- Hybrids can offer tax savings, lower maintenance costs, and special driving and parking privileges.
- The high-voltage battery components even come with at least an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty for extra peace of mind.
